Christine Powers

Christine Powers, MA, MS.Ed., MHC-LP is a Mental Health Counselor and Drama Therapist with graduate training from New York University, the International Trauma Studies Program, and Western Connecticut State University.

At the heart of Christine’s work is a belief that healing happens within safe, attuned connection. She brings a warm, relational presence to therapy and strives to create a space where clients feel deeply seen, respected, and supported. Christine specializes in trauma-informed care and integrates EMDR, psychodrama, somatic approaches, parts work, attachment theory, play therapy, and creative modalities. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy; each person’s story is unique, and the work in the therapy space should reflect that.

Christine is especially passionate about group therapy and the powerful transformation that can unfold when people feel witnessed and supported by others. Whether in individual or group work, her intention is to help you reconnect with your strengths, make meaning of your experiences, and move toward a life that feels more integrated, authentic, and alive.
